General Information

The 41st Fernandina Beach Fishing Rodeo presented by the Nassau Sport Fishing Association will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Fernandina Harbor Marina.  It is sanctioned by the Southern Kingfish Association as part of their 2024 Tournament Trail national championship series.  There is a Kingfish Division and an In Shore Rodeo Division for 4 different species.  Every entrant can fish one or both divisions.  Check the rules and schedule out at : FBFR Rules

This is a "beach tournament", meaning that fishing is limited to within 3 miles of shore so anybody can win!

Truly something for every angler to shoot for will be on the leaderboard.  All entry fees are considered as donations to the NSFA.

Online tournament registrations are encouraged but checks will be accepted.   We will need 5 days to process a check if it is mailed in so send them early to receive your early registration fee rate. Live registration will be available on Friday evening July 26,  2024 from 3pm - 8pm. There will be a mandatory captains meeting Friday at 7PM. Our weigh-in of all the fish caught happens from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM Saturday afternoon July 27, 2024.
Awards presentations will be Saturday evening at 7PM and we will post results on line and mail winning checks to the captains not present.

Please note that should weather conditions force a postponement, Sunday, August 28, 2024 is our rain date.

So make your plans, get registered and we will see you at the Scales !

Tournament Prizes

Platinum Sponsors

Gold and Silver Sponsors

* Based on 110 paid boats with 80% of donations paid out. Tournament will pay out 80% of donations and one place for every ten boats entered.

NOTE: Only one prize paid out per fish weighed in. One fish cannot receive multiple payouts for

Youth Angler, Lady Angler, Small Boat Class, and Overall tournament placing. The largest eligible payout on the individual fish will determine the award. For example: A Lady Angler weighs in a fish that put her in 1st place for Lady Angler at $1,100. However, the fish weighed in at 5th largest overall in the tournament. The Lady Angler would then be awarded 5th place overall at $1,500, not 1st place Lady Angler at $1,100.
